3. WEIGHING FUNCTIONS
3.1 Weighing
When switched on, the equipment starts in weighing mode.
Place the item to be weighed and read off the weight.
3.2 Taring
Place an empty container on the platform and press the Tare button.
The display changes to a zero and shows the letter N, for net weight.
Taring is possible within the entire weight range.
3.3 Component adding
After taring the container and placing the first component,
the scales can be reset to zero by pressing the ON/TARA/OFF button again.
This process can be repeated to add other individual components.
Multiple taring is possible within the entire weight range.
3.4 Plus/minus weighing
Place a test or reference weight on the scales. Press the ON/TARA/OFF button to tare.
Remove the test/reference weight from the scales and place the piece to be checked. Read off the difference.
