12Pull the seat position adjuster down A . Rotate the seat position adjuster toward the

bottom of the car seat B .

13Make sure the seat position adjuster is flat against the bottom of the car seat.

14DO NOT use the tether strap to install the car seat rear-facing. Store the tether strap by

folding it and fastening it to the back of the car seat. Store the tether anchor and hard- ware in a safe place until you’re ready to use this car seat in the forward-facing posi- tion with a child 1 year and up (22-40 lbs.).

If the chest clip is not used, store it (buckled
