9Check to be sure the shoulder straps are locked into the buckle and securing your

child properly. Pull the shoulder straps up and away from your child firmly. The shoulder straps should remain locked in the buckle and should not pull more than one inch (two fingers) away from your child’s chest. If the shoulder straps are too loose or unbuckle, please re-read the instructions on pages 32-34, and repeat steps 3 -9.

WARNING

NEVER allow the shoulder straps to be loose around your child. If the shoulder straps are not snug against your child, your child will not be properly restrained.
