To clean the car seat shell and 5-point harness, use a mild cleaning agent and damp cloth. Rinse with clean water to remove soap residue.

Clean the inside of the buckle with a mild soap and water solution. Run warm water into the buckle to remove residue. DO NOT use deter- gents. DO NOT lubricate the buckle.

10Replace the car seat pad onto the car seat shell and feed the crotch and lap belts through the slots

in the bottom of the car seat pad.

11 Insert each of the shoulder straps into the buckle.

12Insert the shoulder straps through the appropriate shoulder strap slots, checking to be sure they are

not twisted and are in the proper slots for either rear-facing (beginning on page 18 or forward- facing (beginning on page 46).

13Connect the shoulder straps to the connector bar and close the connector bar cover.
