Using the Bedrail
WARNING:
Make sure that your child’s hands are away from the hinge area before raising and lowering the Bedrail.
Discontinue use if damaged, broken or if parts are missing.
TO LOWER THE BEDRAIL:
First, remove contents from the 4 pockets as well as cups/beverages from the Cup Holder. Simultaneously lift the Side Locks on either side of the Bedrail, as shown in Fig. 11, and lower the mesh panel. Swing the mesh panel all the way down, as shown in Fig. 12, so that it rests flat against the box spring.
TO RAISE THE BEDRAIL:
Lift the Bedrail until it is completely upright and locks into place. You will hear a clicking sound when it locks into place.
Removing and Collapsing the Bedrail
Remove all accessories as well as the contents from the 4 pockets. Remove the Bedrail from the mattress. To remove the Cross Rails, depress the locking pin and pull back on the Locking Piece on the left side of the Cross Rail until it is clear from the insertion piece. Depress the Locking Pin on the right side of the Cross Rail and pull the remainder of the Cross Rail out of the insertion piece. To break down the Cross Rails, depress the locking pin and pull the two pieces apart. To collapse the Bedrail, depress the button on the top of the Bedrail, as shown in Fig. 13. The button is located under the top bar, beneath the nylon, and can easily be activated by squeezing the top bar. Collapse the legs by lifting the Side Locks up and pushing the legs down.
Cleaning the Bedrail
