Cover Removal

WARNING! Do not take apart the harness. Never remove the buckle tongues from the harness. They cannot be reattached after removal. If reassembled incorrectly, the child seat may not perform as

intended.

1Remove the infant body pillow.

2Loosen the harness by lifting the harness adjuster

 

lever while pulling both shoulder straps forward

 

 

as far as possible.

Unhook the shoulder straps from the harness

 

 

yoke on the rear of the child seat (Fig. E).

Pull the upper harness straps through the head

 

restraint and cover to the front of the child seat.

 

5Remove the buckle and belly pad. See page 35.

6Remove the head restraint portion of the cover. Be careful not to damage the energy-absorbing foam.

7Remove the energy-absorbing foam from the head restraint and set aside.

8Gently remove the upper portion of the cover by pulling it around the head restraint to the front.

9Pull the lower harness straps, buckle tongues, HUGSchest pads, and chest clip through the lower slots in cover.

10Remove the entire cover from the child seat.
