Harness Buckle Removal

1Recline the child seat.

2Locate the metal buckle strap retainer on the bottom of the child seat.

3Pull the retainer away from child seat to loosen.

4Turn the retainer so the short side will go through the slot in child seat shell (Fig. A).

5Push the retainer through slots in the shell and cover to the top of the child seat.

Re-threading the Harness Buckle

1Locate slot in cover and shell for harness buckle.

2Turn the buckle retainer so the short side will fit through the slot in the cover and child seat shell (Fig A).

3Push the retainer through slots in the shell and cover, to the bottom of the child seat.

4Pull harness buckle away from child seat until tight and verify the strap is not twisted and the release button is facing outward.
