■ Setting the Date Imprint

You can imprint the captured images with the date on which they were taken.

When a still image is captured with the Date Imprint function set to ON, the date is imprinted on the JPEG file of the captured image (in the lower-left corner). Note that this is different from printing the date information of a file based on a printer setting, etc.

When the self-timer is used, keep the camera from moving by setting it on a

Pressing MENU saves the selected setting,

 

and the camera exits the Capture Menu

screen.

The date-imprint setting selected here is retained even after the power is

turned off. However, Setting to the Default P25 returns the setting to OFF.

● The date is imprinted in white text, which may be difficult to see against a white background.

Even if the Date Imprint function is set to ON, the date won,t be imprinted in

decreasing, indicating that the self-timer has

started. When the selected timer period elapses,

the camera will emit a“bleep”sound to indicate

that the image has been captured.

To stop the self-timer, press the self-timer button(【O】).

The image capture settings (image size, image quality, white balance, EV, etc.) are also effective when the self-timer is used.

The self-timer function is canceled once the image is captured. To take another image using the self-timer, set the self-timer again.
