IMPORTANT. When using the PD PrismFinder,makeitapointtouse silveroxidebatterieswhenavailable

(inthisinstance,batterylifeisshort- enedifalkalinebatteriesareused)

Whenthebatterycheckbutton(21, locatedabovethefilmadvanceknob) isdepressed,thebatterychecklamp (8,locatedabovetheshutterspeed dial)illuminates.Ifthebatterycheck lampfailstogoon,itistimetoreplace thebattery.

*Whenthebatteryiscompletelyex- hausted,theopenedshutterwillnot close.Atthistime,if the battery check

button is pushed all the way down as far as it will go, the shutter will then close.
