Embedded Cover in Ceiling (recess bracket)

Attachment of a embedded cover in the ceiling (recess bracket) may be mandatory in certain regions. If this is so, ensure that the embedded cover (recess bracket) is securely attached before installing the camera.

Please refer to the instruction manual for the cover in use for details on installation of the embedded cover (recess bracket).

1.Attach safety wire to prevent camera from falling down

Connect the ceiling slab or channel to the ceiling mount using the wire to prevent the camera from falling down. Make use of the safety wire mounting hole to connect the ceiling mount and the wire.

(See diagram on the left)

Cautions

Choose a wire and ceiling structure with an appropriate strength and length that may prevent danger in case the camera falls down.

Notes

Connect the wire so that it can be insulated from the ceiling structure.

If the ceiling structure is made of a metallic material, improper insulation with the camera may cause noise interference in the images.

Safety wires are not provided. Please purchase commercially available wires on a separate basis.
