7Rotate the MENU Wheel to select “CANC.ALL”, and press it. The PROTECT screen appears.

8Rotate the MENU Wheel to select “EXECUTE”, and press it.

To cancel selection, select “RETURN”.

7Rotate the MENU Wheel to select “CURRENT”, and press it. The DELETE screen appears.

8Press 3 or 5 to select the desired file.

Deleting Files

Previously stored files can be deleted either one at a time or all at once.

1Load a memory card. ( pg. 17)

2Set the Playback Mode Switch to “MEMORY”.

3Set the Power Switch to “P” while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch.

4Open the LCD monitor fully, or pull out the viewfinder fully.

The still image which has been played back at the last time is displayed.

5Press the MENU Wheel in. The Menu Screen appears.

6Rotate the MENU Wheel to select “DELETE”, and press it. The Sub Menu appears.

9 Rotate the MENU Wheel

to select “EXECUTE”, and

DELETE

 

press it.

 

To cancel deletion,

DELETE?

select “RETURN”.

RETURN

Repeat steps 8 and 9 for

 

all files you want to

 

delete.

 

NOTE:

If the “” mark appears, the selected file is protected and cannot be deleted.

To delete all files stored in the memory card

To cancel deletion, select “RETURN”.

NOTES:

Protected files ( pg. 29) cannot be deleted. To delete them, remove protection first.

Once files are deleted, they cannot be restored. Check files before deleting.

CAUTION:

Do not remove the memory card or perform any other operation (such as turning off the camcorder) during deletion. Also, be sure to use the provided AC Power Adapter/Charger, as the memory card may be corrupted if the battery becomes exhausted during deletion. If the memory card becomes corrupted, initialise it. ( pg. 32)
