How to operate the system

Control exercised from the Remote Operation Panel AW-CB400

When using the AW-CB400, its switches and dials function as shown in the figure below.

For capturing the camera statuses, and synchronizing the data. Flashes while data is being synchronized. *1

For selecting the cameras and pan-tilt head systems to be operated.

For switching DTL ON and OFF.

The LOW/HIGH selection can be made on the

LCD menu when turned ON.

For selecting GAIN 0dB, L, M, H or AGC. (The selected button lights.) *2

The L/M/H buttons can be set in increments of 1 dB between 0 dB and 18 dB on the LCD of the CB400. *3, *11 Furthermore, the MAX GAIN setting of the AGC can be performed from the LCD of the CB400.

For switching between CAM or BAR.

For switching WHITE BAL ATW, A or B. (The selected button lights.) *2

For adjusting the TOTAL PEDESTAL. (−150 to +150) *4

For switching IRIS AUTO, MANU and LOCK.

This lights when the ZOOM/FOCUS operations are performed using the OPTION switch or when “FAST” has been selected as the status of the IRIS dial reaction speed.

For adjusting the iris when IRIS is set to MANUAL. *4

For switching the GAIN/PED display and controller setting menu display.

For details on the camera’s functions, open the camera’s menu and select the settings.

For switching the SCENE file (User/Halogen/

Fluorescent/Outdoor). (The selected button lights.)

Lights when the OPERATE switch is turned ON. Flashes when an alarm (Fan Error) is received from the camera. *5

The camera can be operated when this switch is turned ON.

For executing AWB.

This button lights without the AWB function being activated when the white balance mode of the main unit is set to ATW, PRESET 3200K, or PRESET 5600K, or when the Color Bar is displayed. *6

For executing ABB. *6, *7

For adjusting R/B GAIN. (–150 to +150) *4, *8

For adjusting R/B PED. (–150 to +150) *4, *9

These are the OPTION switches, and each switch makes it possible to operate one of the items listed below. (The items are set on the controller setting menu.)
