In AUTO mode [ ], [MANUAL] mode cannot be selected.

When selecting [MANUAL] in external flash mode, set the REC mode dial to

the aperture-priority AE [ ], or the manual exposure [ ], and set the aperture value with the camera, even on the flash side. (As the aperture

value changes in shutter-priority AE mode [ ], it is not possible to obtain

the correct exposure. Moreover, as in program AE [ ] the aperture value cannot be locked, the external flash output cannot correctly operate).

When using the external flash in the aperture-priority AE mode [ ], the shutter speed becomes 1/30-1/125.

In motion image mode [ ], the external flash cannot be used.

DMW-FL28 can be used at a maximum distance of 10 m.

When using the external flash, it is recommended to set the built-in flash to off.

When installing the external flash, the camera becomes unstable.

Remove the external flash when you carry the camera.

For further information, read the external flash operating instructions.
