Problem

The camera movement mode (OFF, SEQ,

SORT, AUTO PAN, PATROL, AUTO TRACK) setting changes.

Camera position is different from the preset position setting.

Picture is different from the position setting.

Upper part of the picture is black when the camera is in a horizontal orientation.

Camera suddenly starts to pan by itself.

Cause and Recommended Action

• Check the self return function.

Perform REFRESH from the special setup menu.

Adjust the picture using the preset menu and a scene file.

This is caused by the camera's internal cover. It does not indicate malfunction.

If the cleaning function is turned on, this is normal does not indicate malfunction. Check the CLEANING settings.

If the cleaning function is not turned on, this symptom could be due to noise.

Power cord sheathing is damaged.

Power cord becomes hot during operation.

Power cord becomes warm or hot when it is bent or stretched during use.

The power cord is damaged. Continued use creates the risk of electric shock and fire. Immediately unplug the power plug and contact a qualified service person or system installer for servicing.
