2.Move the cursor to the PRESET parameter and select ON.

The backlight compensation is automatically set.

3.If you want to change the video output level (pic- ture contrast), move the “I” cursor for LEVEL and

adjust the level.

4. Move the cursor to RET and press to return to the CAM SET UP menu.

2-2. ALC Mode with PRESET OFF

These modes are effective when the main object in the scene is not located in the center of the screen and a source of bright light is located near the center of the screen. In these modes, the picture is divided into 48 areas that mask the light to keep the clarity of the pic- ture.

Note: If ELC is selected, set MASK SET and LEVEL according to this procedure.

1.Move the cursor to the PRESET parameter and select OFF.

The item MASK SET appears on the menu.
