Adjusting the position of the FM indoor antenna

While listening to an FM program (see pag 35), extend the antenna and move it in various directions until the clearest signal is received, then secure the antenna with push pins in the position with the least distortion.

Adjusting the position of the AM indoor antenna

Note

Insert one end of the AM antenna cord to either of the AM antenna connectors and the other end to the other connector. There is no difference between one end of the AM antenna cord and the other end, unlike the speaker cords which have positive and negative poles.

While listening to an AM program (see page 35), set the antenna in the direction and position where you receive the clearest sound.

Put it as far away as possible from the unit, TVs, speaker cables, and power cords.

Connecting an AM Outdoor Antenna

An outdoor antenna will be more effective if it is stretched
