Mounting the Commander

For safe use, make sure of the following:

Location is stable and film.

Driver's view or operations are not obstructed.

Located where driving can easily be performed (center console, etc.). During operation, ensure that your driving posture does not change, or that your attention is not taken away from safely driving your vehicle.

1 Confirm where the holder is to be placed, and determine its direction.

The angle of the commander can be adjusted according to the direction of the holder.

2 Route the commander connection cable through the holder.

Route the cable through the hole in the side.

Pattern 2

Route the cable through the hole in the underside.

3 Mount the Holder

When the holder cannot be mounted securely with double-sided adhesive tape, mount it by using screws.

*Before attaching the tape, make sure the mounting location is free from dust or dirt.

4 Connect the commander cable to the commander.

5 Take up any slack by pulling the cable, while holding the holder.

6 Set the commander on the holder.

After aligning the 2 projections on the backside of the commander with the groove of the holder, turn the commander clockwise until it clicks.

When you remove the commander from the holder, turn the commander counterclockwise by pressing on the holder, then remove the commander.

WARNING

DO NOT INSTALL THE COMMANDER NEAR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG.

If the unit is not installed correctly, the air bag may not function correctly, and if the air bag is triggered, parts may spring upwards and cause accident or injury.

7 Fix the connection cable with the supplied cable clamp.
