Telephone Reception

1 When this unit receives a call, the screen is switched to RINGING display of Telephone mode.

2 When AUTO call (setting of AUTO/MANUAL call page 31) is selected, CONNECT display appears and this unit enters AUTO call mode in 3 seconds after receiving.

3 To cut the call, touch [] . Or the call is automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

The screen returns to the previous source mode.

To input any number or symbol during call:

1Touch [10KEY] in the CONNECT display. The numeric keypad screen is displayed.

2Touch and input a desired number or symbol.

3Touch [RTN] to return to the previous screen.

4Touch [] to start a call.

Calling

Calling by using the Speed Dial

You can place a call by retrieving one of the telephone numbers registered in No. 1 to 9 of the address book.

] on the main source screen.

 

 

 

The Speed Dial and the numeric keypad displays appear.

2 Touch any one of the buttons [1] through [9] in which the telephone numbers are recorded.

A call is sent directly by touching and holding any one of the recorded buttons [1] to [9] for at least 2 seconds.

] to start call.

To cut the call, touch [

]. Or the call is

automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

If no telephone number is registered in the selected function button, "NO PRESET" is displayed for 5 seconds.

Touch [RETURN] to return to the Telephone menu.

When [SPEED DIAL] is touched in the Telephone menu display, the Speed Dial display appears.

Dial call

Input the telephone number using the dial.

The Telephone menu display appears.

The Direct Call and numeric keypad displays appear.

Touch and input the telephone number.

Touch [ENT].

] to start call.

The call is cut in 5 seconds after “NO NETWORK COVERAGE” is displayed.

To listen to the answer-phone or to input numbers:

1In the CONNECT display, touch [10KEY].

The Dial Sending and numeric keypad displays appear.

2Touch and input a desired number or symbol.

3Touch [RTN] to return to the previous screen.

7 To cut the call, touch [ ]. Or the call is automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

The screen returns to the previous source mode.

If [RETURN] is touched within 5 seconds of cutting the call, the Telephone menu display appears.

When the call is cut, touching [ ] dials the number again.

Calling by the address book

From your vehicle, call from the address book registered in the portable telephone.

The operation may be carried out only when vehicle is parked.

3 Touch [PHONE BOOK].

The Phone Book list appears.

4 Touch [CALL] of a desired addressee on the list.

• By touching [ ] or [ ], the names are listed in alphabetical order.

If no data is in the PHONE BOOK, "NO MEMORY" is displayed. Touch [RETURN] to return to the Telephone menu display.

] to place the call.

Calling by the outgoing / incoming /

absent incoming history

You can place a call to one of the last 999 calls by the outgoing/ incoming/absent incoming history.

The Telephone menu display appears.

Outgoing history list display

MISSED CALL:

Absent incoming history list display

RECEIVED CALL:

Incoming history list display

If no history is registered to any of the lists, “NO MEMORY” is displayed.

To return to Telephone menu display, touch [RETURN].
