Sending a picture message

1.In the Picture messages menu, se- lect one of the preset pictures and press View.

2.If the displayed picture is the one you want, press Options, scroll to Edit text and press Select.

If the displayed picture is not the one you want, press Back and re- peat step 1.

3.Write the message.

To view the whole message before sending it, press Options, scroll to Preview and press OK.

4.To send the message, press Op- tions, select Send and press OK.

Only phones that offer the Picture message feature can receive and dis- play picture messages.

NOTE: Each picture message is made up of several text messages. There- fore, sending one picture message may cost more than sending one text message.

Since picture messages are saved in the phone, you cannot view them if you use the SIM card with another phone.

Message settings (Menu 1-5)

Set 1 (Menu 1-5-1)1

A setting group or ‘set’ is a collection of the settings required for sending text messages.

You can, for example, send a text message as a fax (provided that this function is supported by your service provider) by simply selecting the set in which you have defined the proper settings for fax transmissions.

Each set has its own submenu:

Message centre number

Use this menu to store the phone number of the message centre needed for sending text messages.

Key in or edit the phone number and confirm with OK.

Messages sent as

You can request the network to convert your Text messages into alternative formats Fax, Paging or E -mail(network service).

In order to receive a converted message, the recipient must have the appropriate equipment, for ex- ample a fax machine.
