Vibrating alert

Sets the phone to vibrate when a voice call is received. The vibrator does not operate when the phone is connected to a charger or a desk- stand.

Message alert tone

Sets the ringing tone for text messages.

Keypad tones

Sets the volume level for keypad tones.

Warning and game tones

Sets the phone to sound a warning tone, for example when the battery is running out of power or when you play one of the games offered by your phone. This setting has no effect on the tones which are related to net- work services.

Other settings for profiles

Automatic answer (in car and headset profiles only)

Sets the phone to answer an incoming voice call after a single ring. Scroll to On or Off and press OK.

Lights (in car profile only)

Sets the display and keypad lights. Scroll to On (always on) or Automatic (on for approximately 10 seconds af-

NOTE: While in phone book or the menu functions, you can switch on the lights for approximately 10 seconds by pressing the power key quickly even if Automatic is selected.

Renaming profiles

This function allows you to edit the name of the selected profile. This function is not available in the Gener- al, Headset and Car profiles.

1.When the desired Profile is high- lighted, press Options.

2.Scroll to Rename and press OK.

3.Enter the new name and press OK.

Settings (Menu 4)

Alarm clock (Menu 4-1)

In this menu the phone can be set to alarm at a specified time. If the alarm time is set, select On to change the time or Off to turn the alarm clock off. The alarm clock will work even when the phone is switched off.

The alarm clock uses the time format set for the clock, either 12-hours or 24-hours. See Menu 4-2.
