Using the calculator

1.In Calculator menu, press Select.

2.When ‘0’ is displayed on the screen, enter the first number in the calculation.

To add a decimal, press .

3.To add, press once (+ will ap- pear).

To subtract, press twice (- will appear).

To multiply, press three times (* will appear).

To divide, press four times (/ will appear).

Alternatively, press Options, scroll to the desired function, and press OK.

4.Enter the second number. Repeat these steps as many times as nec- essary. Press Clear to erase any mistakes.

5.Press Options. Highlight Equals and press OK.

To make a currency conversion

1.To set the exchange rate, press Options, scroll to Exchange rate and press OK.

2.Scroll to either of the displayed options and press OK. Key in the

exchange rate (press for a decimal point) and press OK.

3.To make the conversion, key in the amount to be converted, press Op- tions, scroll to To domestic or To for- eign and press OK.

Calendar (Menu 8)

The calendar helps you to keep track of reminders, calls that you need to make, meetings, and birthdays. The phone sounds an alarm tone when the set date for a birthday, reminder or a call is reached.

NOTE: Your phone must be switched on to use this func- tion. Do not switch on the phone when the use of a wireless phone is prohibited or when it may cause inter- ference or danger.

1.Select the Calendar menu and scroll to the desired date.

2.Press Options to obtain the func- tions below. Scroll to the desired function and press Select.

View day notes to view the notes set for the chosen day. Scroll through the note(s). Pressing Op- tions while in a note allows access to the following functions.

Erase to delete the note.

Edit to edit the note.
