Move to change the date and time of the note.

Send note to send the note as a text message (SMS).

Send via IR to copy the note to another compatible phone by using the infrared port.

Make note to write a note. You can choose from the following types of note:

Reminder is indicated by . Key in the note and the date and press OK.

Call is indicated by . Key in the desired phone number, or recall it from phone book, and the date when the call should be made, press OK. Repeat this to set the time at which the call should be made.

Meeting is indicated by . Key in a note and the date of meeting, press OK. Repeat this to set the time of the meeting.

Birthday is indicated by . Key in the person’s name, the date of birth (include the year) and press OK. The note and the person’s age will be shown in every coming year.

NOTE: You can set the phone to sound a tone in anticipation for a note. At the prompt Set alarm for the note?, press Yes, key in the alarm date and press OK. Repeat this with the alarm time. The pres- ence of a tone alert is indicated by

when you view the notes.

Menu functions

Erase notes to delete the selected note(s). Scroll to one of the displayed options, Of chosen day, One by one or All at once and press OK.

View all notes to view the notes that are set for all days. Scroll through the note(s). Pressing Op- tions allows access to the same functions as in View day. Scroll to the desired function and press OK.

Go to date to go to the desired date.

Set the date to change the current date.

Print via IR to print all the notes on a compatible printer using the phone’s infrared port.

Infrared (Menu 9)

In this menu you can set up your phone to receive data through its in- frared (IR) port. To use an IR connec- tion, the device with which you want to establish a connection must be IrDA compliant.

The phone is a Class 1 Laser Product.

Setting the devices ready for infrared connection

The preferable distance between the two devices in infrared con- nection is up to 60 cm.
