Troubleshooting chart (continued)

!If trouble occurs

When this product is subjected to strong external interference (mechanical shock, excessive static electricity, abnormal supply voltage due to lightning, etc.) or if it is operated incorrectly, it may malfunction.

If such a problem occurs, do the following:

1Set the unit to the stand-by mode and turn the power on again.

2If the unit is not restored in the previous operation, unplug and plug in the unit, and then turn the power on.

Note:

If neither operation above restores the unit, clear all the memory by resetting it.

Clearing all the memory (reset)

1Unplug the unit.

2Whilst holding down the ON/STAND-BY button, plug in the AC power lead. At this time, the unit will not be turned on.

3Press the ON/STAND-BY button again to turn the power on.

Caution:

This operation will erase all data stored in memory and restore various settings to the initial status (default).

When the protection circuit is activated:

Occasionally at very high volume levels, the protection circuit may be activated to set the unit to the stand-by mode.

Unplug the unit and, after 5 minutes or more, plug it in again. Turn down the volume if set too high.
