Security

Phone and SIM card are protected against misuse by several security codes.

PIN 1 protects your SIM card (per- sonal identification number).

PIN 2 is needed to set the charge detail display and for additio- nal functions of special SIM cards.

PUK Key code. Used to unlock SIM cards after incorrect PIN input.

Pho- protects your phone. Must neco- be entered at the first securi- de ty setting (4-8 digits). The de-

fault is 0000.

Keep these confidential numbers in a safe place where you can access them again if required.

Calls can only be made to one phone number that is dialled using the right soft key. Enter phone number and name or select from the address book.

The dialling options are restricted to specific phone numbers. If only area codes are entered, the relevant pho- ne numbers can be added to these manually before dialling.

of dialled numbers. This call list can be filled with phone numbers speci- fically for this purpose:

Delete (see also p. 49) call list and create “new entries“ by dialling phone numbers and cancelling befo- re the connection is established.
