Store control code

You can store phone numbers and control codes (digits) in the address book as a standard address book entry (e.g. for the remote control of an answering machine).

You can also store the control code (digits) like a phone number and send it during a call (see page 15).

Special numbers

Own

You can enter up to 5 “own“ num- bers (e.g. fax).

Only part of the address book menu is available for your own numbers.

Protected

Note that the use of your address book can be restricted (usual for some business applications), e. g. incomplete phone numbers may be indicated by “?“. These can be ex- tended before dialling.

Services/Info

The phone numbers that you are of- fered by your Service Provider are stored here. They allow you to con- tact local or nationwide information services or use the services of the Service Provider.

Extending numbers

Using an external PC program, e.g. Microsoft® Outlook®, parts of a number can be replaced by “?“ and then transferred to the address book (e.g. for company num- bers and PABX). To call:

'Open address book and select (partial) number.

￿Press.

￿Replace “?“ with digits.

￿Dial number.

Synchronising with Outlook®

You can synchronise your address book wi- th your Outlook® database using the soft- ware Siemens QuickSync (see p. 71).
