2.3Check Components

The following items should be at the installation site.

Link 3000 MCU Expansion Shelves – (MCS300) – the number of shelves varies depending on the size of the system.

Grounding Strap – (in the Link WTS Administration Kit, MKA320) – to protect cards from electrostatic discharge.

Expansion Shelf Controller Card – (CSC300) - one card for each Expansion Shelf. This card is installed in Slot 2.

T1 Remote Module– (CRC301) - one card for the remote site and one card for the local site for EACH remote shelf.

Cables – two 12 foot RJ-45 cables with each Expansion Shelf Controller (CSC300). RJ-45 cable to connect multiple shelves (one for each shelf).

Interface Modules – the correct number and type of Interface Modules to connect the Wireless Telephones and the Base Stations to the telphone system. Interface Modules can support analog (CPA316), Universal digital (CPU316), Mitel (CPM316), Executone (CPB316), Panasonic (CPP316), and select four-wire (CPF316) interfaces.
