SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Place the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER in the area where it will be used. It is recommended that the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER be placed on an equipment mat. The max. operation dimensions of ELITE ELLIPTICAL are approximately 52" long x 28 3/4" wide x 63" tall. (These dimensions may vary up to one inch.) An area 4 feet wide x 7 feet long is required for safe operation of the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER. Make sure that adequate space is available for access to and passage around the ELITE
ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER.
LEVELING: Adjust the LEVELING CAPS(60) on the REAR STABILIZER(2) so that the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER sets on the floor without rocking. Remove and reposition the LEVELING CAPS(60) on the REAR STABILIZER(2) to level the ELITE ELLIPTICAL /
STEPPER.
MOVING: The ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER has a pair of MOVING WHEELS(58) built into the FRONT STABILIZER(3) at the front. Grasp the center section of the HANDLEBARS (7, 8) and tip the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER forward to move.

FUNCTION INSPECTION:
Visually inspect the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER to verify that assembly is as shown in the above illustration. Check the function of the ELITE ELLIPTICAL / STEPPER. Stand on the foot pedals and place your hands at a comfortable position on the handlebars. Slowly move your highest foot forward and follow the natural path of the machine. Turn the crank slowly through one complete revolution to verify that the drive train functions properly. Use the "/" buttons on the COMPUTER(32) to select a program and verify that the Magnetic System provides different tensions. Refer to the COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS on pages 13 to 21.
CAUTION: Locate and read the Warning Label(117) on the ELITE ELLIPTICAL/ STEPPER. Make sure that all users read the Warning Label(117).
