Electrical Information

CAUTION – This equipment is intended to be electrically grounded. The three-wire grounding plug (polarized) will fit only a grounded AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord or outlet if it does not accept three-wire grounding plugs. Contact a licensed electrician to replace the outlet with a properly grounded outlet.

WARNING – To prevent the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose this machine to rain or moisture. Do not place machine outdoors. Do not place machine near swimming pools, sauna rooms or high humidity environments. Refer servicing to qualified Bodyguard® Service personnel only.

To determine your recommended heart rate level, select the type of exercise program you wish to follow. Your MAXIMUM HEART RATE (MHR)

is calculated as follows:

MHR = 220 – Age

It is not recommended to exercise above 90% of your MHR.

Exercise in 70-80% MHR area for an aerobic exercise.

Exercise in 60-70% MHR area for a moderate, healthy heart zone.

Exercise in 50-60% MHR area if you wish to train in a fat burning zone.

Difficult to achieve exercise benefit below 50% MHR.
