Operation

Console Interface Display

The console has a grid display with touch screen control buttons to navigate you through the Schwinn® 460 exercise machine programs.

Auto Shut-Off (Sleep Mode)

If the console does not receive any input within approximately five minutes it will automatically shut off. In SLEEP MODE the backlit display is off.

Note: There is no on/off switch.

Power-Up Mode

The machine will enter POWER-UP MODE if the console is plugged into a power source, any button is pressed or if it receives a reading from the RPM sensor as a result of pedaling the machine.

1. Plug in and push any button on the console or begin pedaling to power up the console computer.

Console Setup Mode

The CONSOLE SETUP MODE allows you to set the units of measure to either METRIC or ENGLISH, adjust the contrast of the display and turn off the motivational messages. Motivational messages show on the screen to increase your enthusiasm and to give positive feedback while you are working out.

1. Hold down the START/ENTER button and STOP/RESET button together for 5 seconds while in the POWER-UP MODE to enter the CONSOLE SETUP MODE.

2. Press (+ /-) to change between ENGLISH and METRIC units.

3. Press START / ENTER to select.

4.Press (+ / -) to adjust the screen contrast.

5.Press START / ENTER to select.

6.Press (+ / -) to turn motivational messages off or on.

7.Press START / ENTER to select.

8. Press STOP / RESET for previous screen. 11
