Problem solving guide

Once the flow of water ceases:

^Remove the drain filter completely.

^Clean it thoroughly.

^Remove any foreign objects (e.g. buttons, coins, etc.) and fluff from the filter housing. Turn the impeller by hand to check that it rotates freely. Any foreign object causing an obstruction should be removed.

^Put the drain filter back in place and secure.

,Make sure the drain filter is securely tightened. Otherwise there is a risk of water leakage during use.

Opening the drum door

,Always make sure that the drum is stationary before reaching into the machine to remove laundry.

Reaching into a moving drum is extremely dangerous.

^Pull the emergency release downwards (see illustration). The drum door will open.
