Operating Instructions

Additional rinsing cycle (RINSE+)

The washing machine is set for extremely economical water consump-

tion. However, for persons who suffer from allergies, it can be helpful

to rinse with more water.

3

If this function is set, an additional rinsing cycle is run with the pro-

grams COTTONS/LINEN, EASY CARES/EASY IRON and DELICATES.

No additional rinse is set when the unit is delivered.

Set additional rinse:

0 1. Turn program selector to SHORT SPIN.

2.Keep the button SOAKING pressed for at least 5 seconds.

After the button has been pressed for 5 seconds, RINSE+ flashes on the program sequence display for 5 seconds.

3.While RINSE+ is flashing, release the button SOAKING.

After the flashing stops, the additional rinse cycle is set. It is active un-

til it is cancelled again.

If an additional rinse cycle is set, the display RINSE+ lights up on the program sequence display before the program start and during the ad- ditional rinse cycle.

4.If you wish to check whether the additional rinse function is enabled:

Turn program selector to SHORT SPIN.

Briefly press the button SOAKING.

The additional rinse cycle is set when RINSE+ flashes on the program sequence display.

Cancel additional rinse:

0 1. Turn program selector to SHORT SPIN.

2.Keep the button SOAKING pressed for at least 5 seconds.

RINSE+ flashes on the program sequence display as soon as the button is pressed. After 5 seconds, RINSE+ stops flashing and lights up con- stantly for a further 5 seconds.

3.While RINSE+ lights up constantly, release the button SOAKING.

After RINSE+ has stopped lighting up, the additional rinse cycle is can- celled.

3

An additional rinse cycle increases water consumption and the program

duration.
