Timer and sleep operation

Timer operation is possible only when the tuner function is selected.

Setting the timer

 

 

 

 

 

Before setting timer:

 

 

Set the unit on time (page 22).

 

If it is not on time, you cannot use the timer function.

Press the ON/

(STAND-BY) button to turn the power on.

Press the TUNER/BAND button.

 

 

Tune in to the desired station. (See page 27.)

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME ( or ) button.

 

 

Do not turn the volume up too high.

Press the TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly until " " is displayed.

Press the

button to specify the hour to start, then press the

 

 

ENTER button.

Press the

button to specify the minutes, then press the

 

 

ENTER button.

 

The unit will enter the timer stand-by mode automatically.
