Alarm function

If an “ALARM” (Emergency) signal is received from a station while listening to the radio, the unit automatically switches to the station broadcasting the “ALARM” signal, except when you are listening to non-RDS stations—all AM (MW) and some FM stations.

Test function

The “TEST” signal is used for testing the “ALARM” signal.

Therefore, it makes the unit work in the same way as the “ALARM” signal does.

If a “TEST” signal is received from a station while listening to the radio, the unit automatically switches to the station broadcasting the “TEST” signal, except when you are listening to non-RDS stations—all AM (MW) and some FM stations.
