MANUAL RESET HI-LIMIT INSTRUCTIONS

FOR GAS MODELS WITH PHASE 5

This dryer was manufactured with a manual reset burner hi-limit and tumbler/lint chamber hi-limit thermostat which is monitored by the Phase 5 computer. If either manual reset thermostat is open prior to start of the drying cycle, the dryer will start momentarily and then shut down.

The open manual reset hi-limit thermostat must be reset “manually” prior to the start of the next cycle.

This hi-temperature condition may be caused due to a restricted exhaust, poor airflow or improper burner oven operation.

The location of the manual reset hi-limit is on the right side of the burner box and the tumbler hi-limit is located in the lint chamber area.

WARNING: Discontinue power to dryer before attempting to reset hi-limit.

IMPORTANT

This dryer is equipped with a burner hi-limit and tumbler/lint chamber hi-limit thermostat which must be reset manually.

WARNING: Discontinue power to dryer before attempting to reset hi-limit.
