Overview of running a study

Resetting the dosimeter

The Edge can be reset through the dosimeter keypad or via QSP-II. The steps below outline how to reset your dosimeter.

Reset

1.

Ensure the meter is Off.

 

 

2.

Turn the meter on by pressing the on/off enter

button.

 

3.

When the splash screen appears, press and hold the run/stop

and on/off enter

 

buttons until the splash disappears.

4.The Setup menu appears on the Edge. Press the up or down arrow to select the reset icon (symbol).

NOTE: Setup menu is used to reset the dosimeter, change the contrast, and return to the main view.

Checkmark icon Is the selection to exit the setup menu

Arrows and enter key Indicates the valid keys are selected

5. Press and hold the on/off enter button.

A 3, 2, 1 countdown will appear, and then a shaded bar will appear indicating the dosimeter is being reset.

6.Press the down arrow until the checkmark icon is selected (denoted by the arrows). Then,

press the on/off enter button to return to the measurement view screen.
