Head unit
1AUDIO button
Press to select various sound quality con- trols.
2BAND button
Press to select among two FM bands and MW/LW bands and to cancel the control mode of functions.
3a/b/c/d buttons
Press to perform manual seek tuning, fast forward, reverse and track search controls. Also used for controlling functions.
4OPEN button
Press to open the front panel.
5EQ button
Press to select various equalizer curves.
6SW button
Press to directly select subwoofer setting menu. See Using subwoofer output on page
20.Press and hold to select bass boost set- ting menu. See Boosting the bass on page
7TA button
Press to turn TA function on or off. Press and hold to turn AF function on or off.
9SOURCE button, VOLUME
This unit is turned on by selecting a source. Press to cycle through all the available sources.
Rotate it to increase or decrease the vo- lume.
aDISPLAY button
Press to select different displays.
bFUNCTION button Press to select functions.
Remote control
Operation is the same as when using the but- tons on the head unit. See the explanation of the head unit about the operation of each but- ton with the exception of ATT and PAUSE, which is explained below.
cVOLUME buttons
Press to increase or decrease the volume.
dATT button
Press to quickly lower the volume level, by about 90%. Press once more to return to the original volume level.
