6.5Waypoint Mark Size

You may change the size of all waypoint marks to small or large (default), or turn them off.

1.Press the [MENU] key to open the main menu.

2.Press the CHART SETUP OPTIONS soft key.

3.Press the CHART DETAILS soft key to open the CHART DETAILS menu.

4.Press ▲ or ▼ to select WAYPOINT.

5.Press the EDIT soft key.

6.Press ▲ or ▼ to select LARGE, SMALL or OFF. LARGE shows mark in actual shape as shown on page 6-2. SMALL displays all waypoints with an “X” regardless of mark shape selected.

7.Press the ENTER soft key or [ENTER] key.

6.6Searching Waypoints

You can search for a waypoint through the alphanumeric list as follows:

1.Press the [WPT/RTE] key, and then press the WAYPOINTS and ALPHA/NUMERIC LIST soft keys to show the alpha/numeric list. At the bottom of the display the search window appears.

2.Use the alphanumeric keys to enter the first 1 - 3 characters in the search window. The waypoint searched appears at the top of the screen.
