BATTERY REMOVAL

To remove the batteries:

1.Turn the power off.

2.Remove the body shroud.

3.Remove the battery post caps (both red and black).

4.Unscrew the wing nuts on (+) red battery terminals, one at a time.

5.Remove the (+) red battery cables from the battery posts; be sure to secure them away from the batteries.

6.Loosen the wing nuts on (-) black battery terminals.

7.Remove the (-) black cables and secure them away from the batteries.

8.You can now remove the batteries from your Jazzy 1400.

WARNING: The Jazzy 1400 batteries weigh approximately 44 pounds each. If you are unable to lift that much weight, be sure to get help. Lifting weight above your capacity to do so could result in injury.
