GENERAL GUIDELINES

SECTION 1

 

 

 

Folding.

1.TRACER SX5 RECLINERS ONLY - Perform the following steps:

A.Push in detent pin on one side of spreader bar.

B.While holding the spreader bar, pull out handle until the release pin is out of the handle of the back cane.

C.Drop the spreader bar to one side.

2.Swing footrest/legrest and calfpads (if equipped) in locked position to the front of the wheelchair.

3.Pivot footplates upward to vertical position.

4.With both hands, grasp the middle of the seat upholstery at the front and back edge and lift up.

5.Continue to close the wheelchair by grasping the back cane furthest from you and pulling the armest towards you.

NOTE: If wheelchair is equipped with carry straps, the wheelchair may be closed by pulling up on the straps.
