Changing a station type

Normally, a Teilnehmer station is operated at the PC and the Ba- sis station is operated at a peripheral device. Other constella- tions, however, are possible in which both stations are connect- ed to another PC, in order to create a cordless data connection between two PCs. In this case, it may be useful to change the type of a station. Or you can implement more than one Partner- station in order to control a second PC or the modem alternate- ly. It may be necessary to change the station type in the case of a Gigaset M101 Data.

Ensure that the correct station is connected locally.

Select Change station type. The change is performed in the background. You can see that this has been performed when the information in the Station type line changes.
