Step 7: Try out the telephone

You can now try out your Profiset 30isdn.

Calling another party:

cLift the handset.

TEnter the call number. The number is dialled.

Talk.

Taking a call:

Call signal is heard.

The calling party’s number is indicated on the display, if it is known and call identification has not been barred.

Lift the handset and talk.

The date and time are preset with zeros by de- fault. The correct date and time are set automat- ically by the switching centre the first time an outgoing call is set up. If your network operator does not support this service, you can program the date and time yourself (page 34).
