Note

If you use your BT On-Air 2300 SMS behind a PBX, please ensure that you set the network connection to private mode. Please refer to p36, “To change the network connection”.

To switch answering machine on

After recording a new outgoing message the machine will automatically switch itself on.

At the base:

To adjust the time allowed for recording incoming messages

It is possible to adjust the time available for a caller to leave a message.

The options are 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 4 minutes and unlimited message length. The default setting is 2 minutes. The answer machine can store up to

32 messages approximately 15 minutes in total.

Use the UP or DOWN button to scroll

to Base.

 

To switch on Answer and Record
