At the handset:

Use the UP or DOWN button to scroll to Answer machine.

Press OK to confirm.

Delete will be shown on the display.

Press OK to confirm.

Use UP or DOWN button to scroll to Messages.

Press OK to confirm. You will hear, “All messages deleted”.

To use call screening

You can decide whether to listen to incoming messages over the loudspeaker on the base unit and answer them or let your answer machine take the message.

Alternatively you can choose not to hear the callers messages.

Call screening is off by default.

You can intercept the call at any time and speak to the caller by pressing the GREEN PHONE button.

To record a memo message

Use the UP or DOWN button to scroll to Base.

Press OK to confirm.

It is possible to record a message directly on to the answer machine as a memo, which can be played back in the same way as other messages.

Hold the handset to your ear. You will hear, “Please record your message after the tone”. After you hear a long beep in the earpiece, speak your memo message into the handset. Whilst you record your message, REC is displayed.

To switch on call screening it is necessary to place a tick in the box displayed in the LCD. You do this by

pressing the button.
