Ring Frequency
If required by your system or equipment settings, you may adjust the frequency of the ring signal.
To adjust the ring frequency values:
• From Configuration Mode, press # | * | 3 | 2 | * <0, 1, or 2> # , where |
<0, 1, or 2> are as follows: |

0 = 20 Hz – U.S. standard (default value)
1 = 25 Hz
2 = 50 Hz
Audio Input Impedance
To ensure optimal audio quality, it may be necessary to adjust the audio impedance of the SX5T’s telephone jack to match the level of the telephone equipment.
To adjust the audio input impedance:
• From Configuration Mode, press # | * | 6 | 8 | * <0 or 1> # , where |
<0 or 1> are as follows: |

0 = 600 ohms (default value)
1 = 900 ohms
Disconnect Pulse
You may adjust or deactivate the default 700 millisecond disconnect pulse generated after a remote disconnect.
To set or adjust the disconnect pulse value (default = 700ms):
• | From Configuration Mode, press | # | * | 7 | 9 | * | <1 – 65535> # , where | |
| <1 – 65535> is the duration of the disconnect pulse, in milliseconds (default value is 700 ms). | |||||||
To disable the disconnect pulse: |

Dial Tone Frequency (SX5T-500C only)
If necessary to ensure compatibility with your equipment and/or service, you may change the unit’s dial tone frequency from the U.S. standard
To select a dial tone frequency:
