Metering Pulse High Gain/Low Gain

If required for your phone system application, you may adjust the metering pulse generated by your SX5T from high gain (default setting) to low gain. The gain values are as follows:

For 12Khz systems:

Low gain = -2dbm (+/- 2dbm)

High gain (default) = 1dbm (+/- 2dbm)

For 16Khz systems:

Low gain = -6dbm (+/- 2dbm)

High gain (default) = -2dbm (+/- 2dbm)

To set the metering pulse to high gain (default setting):

Local Metering Pulse Override/Polarity Reversal (SX5T-500C)

If your phone system application (PBX, Payphone, Public Calling Office) requires Polarity Reversal instead of a metering pulse in order to initiate call billing, you may set your SX5T to generate Polarity Reversal based on the CDMAsystem’s metering pulse signals.

For 12Khz systems:

Low gain = -2dbm (+/- 2dbm)

High gain (default) = 1dbm (+/- 2dbm)

For 16Khz systems:

Low gain = -6dbm (+/- 2dbm)

High gain (default) = -2dbm (+/- 2dbm)

To enable Local Meter Pulse Override (Polarity Reversal):
