Answering system operation

Record and play memos

Memos are your own recorded messages used as a reminder for yourself or other household members who use the same answering system. They are saved, played back and deleted the same way as incoming messages.

Record a memo

While in idle mode, press RECORD. The system announces Record after the tone, press STOP when you are done.” After the tone, speak towards the microphone at the right front of the telephone base from about nine inches away.

Press /PLAY/STOP when you finish recording.

Memo playback

While in idle mode, press /PLAY/STOP.

Memos less than one second will not be recorded.

“Memory is full” will be announced if you press RECORD when the memory is full.

Your memo can be up to four minutes in length.
