To browse through the directory

Press DIR to display the first listing in the directory. You can then use the Vor ^to browse through the direc- tory, or search to find a specific entry. Entries will be dis- played alphabetically by the first letter in the name. Press OFF at any time to exit the directory.

NOTE: You can also display the first listing in the directory by first pressing MENU, then SELECT to choose DIRECTORY, and then

SELECT again to choose REVIEW.

To search by name

When any entry is displayed, you can press a dial-pad key to display the first name beginning with a letter associ- ated with that key.

Press dial-pad keys once for the first letter, twice for the second, three times for the third, as shown on page 23.

For example, press once to find Jennifer, twice to find Kevin, or three times to find Linda.

Viewing long numbers

The screen can display only 16 digits at a time.To view numbers longer than this, press *or #to display the remaining digits.
