Call barring

You can set your Diverse 2011 so that no outgoing calls can be made except 999, 112 and 9112 calls and any special ‘emergency numbers’ stored in the base station memory. See your base station user guide for details.

Your handset PIN number acts as a security measure when locking the Diverse 2011. To change it, see page 25.

The handset will still receive incoming calls.

Short Cuts

You can use the short cut menu to reduce the number of keypad presses required to operate a number of functions. Short cuts work with Diverse 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2011 base stations.

The pre-set short cuts

The short cuts you are most likely to need are already contained in a menu and listed on page 18/19. You must store these pre-set short cuts in the memory before they can be used. This is because short cuts take up some of the memory which you may prefer to use for storing names and numbers in the phone book.

You can also create your own short cuts for your most frequently used functions, see page 17.
