Insert a function/pause
Using INSERT FUNCTION allows you to insert a pause. This is generally required when your Diverse base station is connected to a switchboard/PBX.
Show Function
Displays an explanation of any special character used in a stored number or short cut code (see Short Cuts, page 16)
Check Duplicate
This allows you to check whether or not the number you are entering has already been stored in the memory.
Cancel
The procedure is cancelled without saving the entry.

•Press the DIRECTORY button.
•Press the MORE OPTIONS button.
•Press the DOWN button to highlight
AVAILABLE MEMORY
•Press the OK button. The percentage memory available for storing further entries in your handset is displayed for approximately 2 seconds.
You can save approximately 100 entries in alphabetical order in your directory. The actual number depends on the length of the names and numbers stored.
The memory is also used by the Short Cuts function (see page 16). To make more memory available for directory entries you can delete Short Cuts that you do not use.
Using the redial memory
As well as being able to redial the last five numbers called (see page 10) you can display or delete numbers or edit and copy them into the Phone Book.
To copy a redial number to the Directory

•Press the REDIAL button.
•Press the DOWN button to highlight the number you want.
•Press the MORE OPTIONS button.
•Press the DOWN button to highlight COPY NUMBER
•Press the OK button.
•Enter a name for the number (see page 13)
•Press the MORE OPTIONS button
•Press the DOWN button to highlight SAVE ENTRY
•Press the OK button to confirm.
