This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Regulations. This certification means that the equipment meets certain telecommunications network protective, operational, and safety requirements. The Department does not guarantee the equipment will operate to the users satisfaction.

The equipment must also be installed using an acceptable means of connection. The Load Number (LN) assigned to each terminal device denotes the percentage of the total load to be connected to a telephone loop which is used by the device, to prevent overloading. The termination on a loop may consist of any combination of devices subject only to the requirement that the sum of the load numbers of all the devices does not exceed 100.

Notice:

DoorKing does not provide a power transformer on units sold into Canada. Use only transformers that are CSA listed to power the telephone entry system. 1802, 1803, 1808, 1810, 1814, 1815, 1818 and all "P" series systems require a 16.5-volt, 20 VA transformer. The models 1816 and 1817 require a 16.5-volt, 40 VA transformer. The model 1812 requires a 24-volt, 20 VA transformer.

This product has been tested to and found to be in compliance with the U.L 294 Safety Standard by Intertek Testing Services NA Inc. (a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) and is ETL listed.
